Hawk Players,
This is my favorite post of the year. This list includes gifted students and/or students who work extremely hard to achieve these accomplishments. I have nothing to do with these awards but I respect what you have to do to be on this list. These are the kids that earned it this time around but many others are one grade, one bad test, one vote or an assignment away.
I push you hard on the field and require your focus at games and practices. Many of you show up to the field spent from your day at school. Many play multiple sports. Many do your homework at our facility before or after practice. Believe it or not, I notice these things.
Congrats to the following student/athletes. I know you have grown as a baseball player and you have proven you can also excel in other areas if you put your mind to it and make it happen.
To the 5 boys who made the Principals List: That is quite an accomplishment and something you should be very proud of. I never earned straight A’s but I know the extreme dedication that is required.
